We are happy to introduce to you Benoist Berthiot lenses which are some of bests old french lenses. The production of the company is essentialy for professionales projectors and rarer for cameras. Here this is a 50mm f/1.5 called Benoist Berthiot Cinestar N1 made for 16mm professional projection.

Tiny lens, black with a typical blue french coating. Suprisingly sharp with a crazy swirly bokeh. The most impressive is colors rendition !!! Not fully cover aps-c.

Here this is a real piece of collection in perfect condition, Hugo Meyer Makro Plasmat 50m f/2.7 in c mount. Makro plasmat lenses have been produced by Hugo Meyer during 1930’s. This Makro Plasmat 50mm is extremely rare and our is in excellent conditions. Not a fast lens for a Meyer optic, but really sharp and a great bokeh. This lens is non coated and makes great flares with sun light. Excellent colors rendition !!!

Hugo Meyer Makro Plasmat 50/2.7 is small and lightweight. It fully covers APS-C and can cover Full Frame with modification. Perfect for Sony A7 aps-c or 4/3 cameras (Black Magic, GH4, GH5). It’s a special feeling to shoot with a quasi hundred years old lens.

Maybe the rarest Angénieux lens !!! Angénieux Type M2 50mm f/0.95 is just a crazy and mystery lens. It’s very hard to find information on Angénieux Type M2 lenses, the 25mm f/0.95 is less rare but the 50mm f/0.95 is extremely hard to find. Some people say it was made for a spatiale use like NASA. The only thing i can say that is better corrected than Angénieux Type M1. Here the coating is amazing, contrast and colors rendition are crazy. It’s not totally cover Full frame.

Angénieux Type M2 is sharp wide open with a perfect smooth bokeh. For me no comparison with Canon 50mm f/0.95 … Angénieux is far better and very more rare. It has a special aperture that can be completely closed.

Need to be adapted so it’s little difficult to use. Angénieux Type M2 50mm f/0.95 is very compact and lightweight for a super fast lens.

Dallmeyer is an old and famous UK factory of cine and photographic lenses. Here we present you a 1930’s Dallmeyer cine lens, the Kinematograph (2″) 50mm f/1.9 in c mount. This lens was produced before Dallmeyer Speed or Super Six and it’s non coated. I find the lens very beautiful in black paint with a chrome ring. My copy is in excellent condition for an old lens. Perfect glasses and beautiful iris.

This Dallmeyer Kinematograph pre Super Six is surprisingly sharp with an great bokeh. The lens lans is small and lightmeight perfect to use on Sony A7 or micro 4/3 cameras like Black Magic or GH4.

Som Berthiot lenses were produced in Dijon manufactory and not in Paris. The company name has changed in Sopelem and now the Dijon manufactory is closed. Here we introduce to you the little 50mm brother from Cinor serie lenses which are made for cine cameras. Som Berthiot Cinor lenses are famous for typical french cine style. The 50mm are the rarest focale and here this is the little brother made for 8mm format in d mount or for ercsam cameras.

This little Berthiot Cinor 50mm f/2.8 is very cute and perfect for micro 4/3 users (panasonic Lumix GH5, Black magic …). Price lower than Berthiot Cinor 50mm f/2 in c mount and same qualities !!!

Kern lenses are famous for all cine lenses lovers. Extremely sharps same quality as Angénieux, Berthiot, Kinoptik, Dallmeyer, Leitz … Here this is a Kern Switar 75mm f/1.9, excellent lens and not very expensive. Made for Bolex H16 cameras. Compact lens, very easy to use and for me very beautiful.

Kern Switar 75mm f/1.9 is extremely sharp with a excellent smooth bokeh transition. Colors rendition is great with a good saturation.
